Nothing for about 10 months, but I've never won anything big.
Dream of winning one of the ITV comps, but I'd really like an ipad or iphone.

Just 'won' a Baileys miniature yay!!
  • Mine is 2 months now, i have only been comping since May but I have onyl been entering comps for things I really want. This waiting for the next win is making it more exciting though, I hope something big is coming my way! :D

I've been comping for 2 months and I've won an Air Wick sensor. Gonna keep at it though as someone has gotta win!

Since 2009! Funny enough the motivation has gone downhill and I only do the really good stuff now which of course everyone else does so the odds are lower still!

Had a 4 month no win spell last november til march this year, and now again i've not won since the end of july. Just the luck of the draw really!

    Errr... about 3 weeks?

I've been astonishingly lucky in that i won the very first competition i entered - i'd heard about Lancome's new Visionnaire serum and googled it out of interest, that lead me to a post by MoneySavingMakesMyDay on these here MSE Forums that linked me to a John Lewis competition where they had 5 bottles of it to giveaway. Knowing that (having recently become unemployed) i couldn't possibly afford to buy the stuff and the only way i'd get my hands on it would be to win some, i entered and promptly forgot about it.

Several days later i got an email from a lady at John Lewis congratulating me upon my win and requesting a delivery address ~ the following monday it arrived with the postman.

I love it, it's almost as good as cats :happyhear

That was mid-september, and since then i've been entering quite a few competitions, tho' i've not won anythign since. That's okay tho' 'cause i reckon i had a particularly auspicious start and of course having won the first time i know that it can happen, and will doubtless happen again at some point. I've since joined the MSE forums :hello: and i'm currently considering creating a facebook page just for the FB comps. I don't enter loads - just the ones where i could win things i actually want for myself or which i know a friend or family member would want, altho' that still counts for quite a few.

The other day i was able to post a couple of new competitions for other people to enter, which did make me feel a bit warm an fuzzy inside ~ given how many competitions i've entered from other people's contributions it was nice to feel like i was contributing something to the site in return ~ hopefully i'll be able to post more in future :grouphug:
