Whats your longest dry spell?

Hi, hope noone minds me posting this here.

Ive been comping for about 3 months and apart from the begining waiting for the first wins to come in ive done really well. Ive probably won something at least every week and one week had a prize a day!

The last couple of weeks ive only won a mascara, so far ive not wo anything in October.

I have read that some months people have not won anything at all so just wondered how long everyone's longest dry spell was?

I've been trying since mid-August, entering things everyday* and I haven't won anything yet, so almost two months now! I know it's random and entering doesn't entitle you to anything but it's still disheartening seeing how much others are winning, and what is being won, while I'm still waiting. I would love to know their secrets The amount you write about is just mindboggling. How many are you entering a day on average??

*I've been too shy to register and thank (not sure why I registered now to comment), but I am grateful for everyone who takes the time to post a competition

Hi Pechow, I enter by end date, only manage to keep a couple of days ahead at the most. I couldnt say for certain how many I enter but its a lot! I only enter for things that I would like or need or could give as a gift (especially with christmas coming!). I tend to enter in the evening when the kids have gone to bed as I work full time too.

I have had some good wins and must admit I too get quite jealous when I read IWIWIW. Especially when its something I really wanted! It does get disheartening when you enter so much and dont win but its great when you do!

I usually win something small every couple of weeks, could only comp half of sept due to internet failure & got my biggest win (Jamie Oliver serving bowls) so it is the luck of the draw

I didn't win anything in 12 months, then won 4 things this year.

I enter every day, only for things i really want and at times i feel like giving up, but i just keep trying, i don't think anyone is as unlucky as me lol

I am always wondering this, I have entered so many comps about 40 + everyday since January, and my wins are so far a Katie price book and a mars football that never arrived:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I keep entering, I am sure my time will come. You have got to be in it to win it.

I love comping but rarely win, have been comping about 3 months and won a couple of little prizes. Generally apart from my family and friends l am not a very lucky person and comping is all about luck.
But l really enjoy and love reading about the winners and maybe one day l will win that "awesome prize". The only competitions l am not sure l enter correctly is "Twitter", l follow and hit retweet not sure if should be doing anything else, welcolme any advise.

the people on here who win loads do seem to enter hundreds every day - smaller prizes often have more chance of winning - so far I've only won one proze worth over £100 = the previous highest begfore that was about £50

Been entering since june-july non-stop on lunch breaks / evens and backdating to last time i entered....haven't won anything...Only enter things i want though, ipad, holiday, tv etc etc
