Have you looked for replacement ink toners yet?
It can be that the cheaper a printer is to buy, the more expensive the ongoing running costs can be0 -
Have googled costs per page for laser toners but nothing much yet, will keep looking
Was the £45 for a genuine toner?0 -
The refilled ones will make the cost per page cheaper and are fine for most types of printing, you could get a refilled one and use that from the off then use the genuine supplied one if you need the best possible output, though remember to use it before it goes out of date
I have a number of inkjet printers and when they arrive use the genuine inks but if the same image is printed on that and then another printer with compatible inks, no one has been able to tell0 -
A more expensive (and better) printer will work out cheaper in the long-run if you print enough.
I was pricing HP colour laser printers for someone at work today - we could get a 1200 page black toner for the ~£100 model for ~£65. A high capacity black toner for the £540 model was ~£126 for 17000 pages...0 -
for home use is this a good deal if not what should be the one to look.
thanks0 -
yes. so should be able to find cheaper refilled one.
Sorry, not on this printer, OEM only so I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole, many of the new low end Samsung Laser Printers will lock you in to buying Samsung toners due to firmware updates and the chips being hard to crack.I hate football and do wish people wouldn't keep talking about it like it's the most important thing in the world0 -
Some suppliers give you the printer free if you buy two or three sets of cartridges......0
