CashConverters - Buyback - My Macbook Pro

Hi all,
I need to borrow around £250 until I get paid, and I have tried to get payday loans without success.
Has anyone heard about Cash Converters buyback? I have a Macbook Pro worth about £2000 so I can live without it for a fortnight.
Anyone know their costs or if it's reliable? I'd dread to put it in and not be able to buy back! I don't need much, I just thought I'd ask on here to see if anyone has experienced it before!
Cheers!
