Paypal and Gumtree

Hi Guys, I'm selling something on gumtree and a guy has asked me to post, which I'm happy to do. I'm assuming he wants to pay via paypal and I was wondering what the procedure is his end. Does he just send as a personal payment? Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks

I wouldn't sell anything on Gumtree other than cash on collection.
A guy who's Uncle was working in an African orphanage was one time desperately looking for what I was selling & offered the usual huge extra payment to post to Africa.
I agreed to sell to him if said Uncle sent me pictures of him tiptoeing through the African dust in the high heeled glitzy evening shoes he desperately needed.
Funny enough I didn't hear from him again.
