Please can anyone help? I've just completed a price comparison and I have found I can save nearly £300 a year. My problem is my current supplier have just replaced my electric meter because of a fault.if I change my supplier will I get charges for this new meter?

I think it is the National Grid that will own your electricity meter, you should be free to move to any supplier you want.0

No you will not be charged for the new meter, but, you say that the old meter was replaced because of a fault
A saving of by as much as £300 by Switching, is very unusual - could it be that the old meter was running slow and the new meter will be clocking up your actual use?
Might be worth posting the details of your home/family size and annual Kwh consumption for advice0
