Had a problem with malware a few days ago which took a few days to fix but got there in the end. However, my computer is now prone to going blue screen at random intervals now, it mentions somethings wrong with a file system 32 - does this mean I have to format everything and reinstall?

i would backup all your data and do a nice clean install, its probably not worth all the hassle trying to find the problem.
Windows will probably run a lot quicker with a clean install anyway.0 -
Perhaps the process of removing the malware corrupted the registry or dll's so when a particular operation is performed , it can't do it properly and goes to the blue screen. A nice fresh install is a good idea0

Here here! Fresh install is the order of the day! You'll be surprised how painless it will be, and your PC will run like lightening again. Hey, while you're at it, why not take the case off and blow out all that dirt and dust inside the PC, and also untangle all those wires at the back. It'll be like getting a new PC.0
