Yahoo mail: how to undo the "upgrade"?

There's an option at the top of mine for "Mail classic".....0

Is it my imagination or has an increased amount of spam been slipping through the net for those of us who are resisting the upgrade? Almost as if Yahoo has downgraded the spam-filtering we used to have. Could they be trying to wear us down? They succeeded with me, but I didn't get on with the "new improved" version so thanks for the link Dave_C, I have now switched back.If you can't think of anything nice to write, say nothing. Rudeness isn't clever.0

I entered Yahoo mail as usual today 31 Oct after clicking on No thanks continue to Classic Mail everytime for the past month to find out if still same and No it not - No thanks etc gone now in same place if I remember there was Help and options clicked on that and something Classic Mail somewhere - look carefully to find - clicked on that and Behold Classic Mail. :j
I just went in again just now to be sure I was put it correctly and typed yahoo mail and it went straight to Classic Mail as usual - Think Yahoo has given up for now - stick to your guns - it often pays off. Good Luck with getting back Your Classic Mail0 -
Yep !!! Still on Classic -they have definately thrown in the Towel :j
I saw somewhere that Yahoo have just bought a big USA Advertising Company for 27 million and if you look at their T & C when you Upgrade you have to agree for them to 'Moniter' your emails both Receive and Send for 'Interests' so they can Target their Adverts- looks like they had been planning this for some time - these 'Purchases' cant be made quickly so I guess this is what it has all been about - They were not making enough money by letting others Advertise on our Mail boxes so decided to get it in 'House'.
It wouldn't look good to still have their old Original Mail Boxes on show even though titled 'Classic Mail' so decided to try and shovel Us under the carpet - But they found that us 'Elders' didnt take kindly to being Shoveled - I bet it was the Grandma of one of the CEOs that woke them up to this fact when the many thousands complained then left in disgust at the New Mail. I reckon the Office Whizz Kid still cant work out why it is still there.

Yes there was - see my earlier post where I found on the Right alongside the big clock was a paragraph that said on the bottom line No Thanks continue to Classic Mail - then see my post on 31st Oct - By the way if you have still not got back to Classic you will need to reduce your Screen Resolution to 800x600 temp. because the New Mail doesnt Support it - that was enough for me ( I dont know how to disable Java so didnt)
If it doesnt work Google How can I get my Classic Mail back or something similar and you will find loads of sites with Techies that will help you - some are undercover Y Techies. Great Guys :A
On a minor point - How can I get the Index page out from under the Adverts on the RH side - I have only got a 10x8 in. Screen and if I scroll they come too - I cant move them off the end of the lines - any help much appreciated0 -
And the new interface is soooo slow too.0
