be aware of this company I took a policy out with them on the 21st of September just before I went away on Holiday. I came back to find the wrong occupation on my insurance policy telephoned them to correct it and they charged me £115.00p to do this as I was outside the 14 day cooling of period. I just checked my on line form I entered and it is the same as I entered not what they are claiming i put down. be aware as I tried to cancel the policy and to do that would have cost me £127.00p. A very unscrupulous company to steer well clear of. I have reported them to the financial ombudsman and will let you all know what happens in the next 8 weeks.

Has anyone else had any dealings with this company like this and how have they gone? Also is it normal to charge £115.00p to change details on a policy. I could have gone with Aviva for less and not had any of theses problems!!! beware cheapest is not always in the long run!!!!0

I recently changed my car and address with my insurer and was charged £10 so i think that 115.00p is a bit out of order just to change your occupation. Have you written to them to complain or spoken to anyone on the phone to complain??0
-
The £115 I would assume is not for the change of occupation but by the change of risk the different occupation carries!0

yeah I have complained and they say it is their standard charge, a damn con if you ask me I have today sent them the screen print out which lists my profession as a coach in my original application from confused.com they say confused.com told them I was a coach sprayer. I have reported them to the financial Ombudsman but they get 8 weeks to sort it out, and confused.com can't be contacted as the date of birth section on their website is not working on their contact form. My insurance is now costing me £600 instead of £479.00p. I am so angry that large companies can just do what they like and get away with it.0

They charge extortionate admin fees so as to keep their headline rates as low as possible. A bit like Ryanair, really.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

Well just seems a company everyone needs to avoid at all costs!!!0
-
Well i got my money back with no charges after i got the financial ombudsman involved and confused.com were useless as their enquiries section does not even work if you need to report a problem.0

And that's why you don't finalise things through the comparison sites that are only in it for their cut of the cake.
5t.What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?0
