you put>>>>
Jebus, £58 for a food with these ingredients
Quote:
Cereals* (wheat*, corn*, rice*), 23% meat* and animal by-products (chicken*) in chunks, oils* & fats*, vegetables* (carrots*), minerals. *= from controlled organic farming sources, Skal 1301
I'm absolutely astounded, terrible food. You can get excellent quality pet foods for much, much less (Arden grange etc).
The wet looks mildly better.
I have looked and the £58 is for a 10kg 100% organic chicken & veg dog food which also includes a dog bowl and food scoop!
As with all Yarrah products, this recipe is free of any chemical additives, hormones, genetically modified materials or preservatives.
AND Benefits of Yarrah products:
No GM ingredients in Yarrah products
No herbicides or pesticides on plant products
No added hormones in animals
No added sugar or milk products
No artificial colourings, flavourings or flavourings
Preserved using only natural minerals and vitamins
there is no better out there.. if you want you pet live long and active with huge bills Yarrah is the pet food.0 -

LOL, one day, it wont be allowed for people to try and make money by lying to pet owners about the food they're selling. And charging the earth for.
You clearly work for the company. But please, don't lie to pet owners for cash. Shame on you.

The things in red have no business being in a dog food with a £58 price tag. Three different types of filler, wheat and corn are known allergens for dogs too. So they're to be avoided in any food. Meat by products, not meat meal...again, avoid avoid avoid. No percentages, but a filler based food as they're first on the list and the only meat being from derivatives.
Here's a small comparison.
Simpsons grain free, £32 per bag.Chicken (min 45% - Chicken Meal (min 21%) Fresh Chicken (min 20%) Chicken Fat (min 4%), Potato (min 26%), Beet Pulp, Brewers Yeast, Chicken Digest, Dried Egg, Salmon Oil, Minerals, Linseeds, Vitamins, Yucca Extract, Cranberries, Nucleotides, Mannanoligosaccharides (MOS), Fructooligosaccharides (FOS), Glucosamine, MSM, Chondroitin.
Nice and clear, shows what's in there, fresh and meal form chicken (meal is better as its after dehydration, bit the fresh along side it doesn't hurt), one filler, beet pulp and brewers yeat to aid digestion, egg for calcium etc. Salmon oil for healthy skin. Vits and minerals all clearly listed.
Nothing artificial of GM, no stuff that shouldn't be there.
And simpsons is a mid range grain free, for £58 you can get the likes of Orijen and arcana, which are widely regarded as the best kibbles available.
Ingredients speak for themselves, And I know which of the above foods I;d rather put in my dog. I will leave it at that because it's not fair to the OP, but if anyone does want advice on which brande are good/bad, feel free to pm me.
My apologies to the op for distracting from the original post, I just can not stand to see companies selling crap and blatantly lying about it to the detriment of our pets diet.Sigless0 -

your comparing 2 totally different products makes no sense...
"Simpsons grain free"
A like for like compared product would Yarrah's Gluten Free Sensitive
Grain* (70% rice*), meat & meat by-products* (24% chicken), egg & egg products (powdered chicken egg*), oils* & fats* (2% chicken fat*), minerals, seaweed*, spirulina*.
*certified organically produced, Skal 1301.
Vitamin A (15,000 IU/kg), Vitamin D3 (1,500 IU/kg), Vitamin E (120 IU/kg), zinc (110 mg/kg), copper (10 mg/kg).
Yarrah has been producing Nature's Finest Organic Petfood since 1992, they were actually the first company in Europe to produce organic petfood.
Throughout all these years, Yarrah has always used the best organic ingredients available to produce our dog and cat food. All their products are complete meals. This means our food products contain all the required vitamins, minerals and amino acids in the right proportions for a healthy pet.
like all pets out there at the moment they requiry different products due to the possible problems...
I dont work for Yarrah just have been using there products at my animal shelter for over 15years and no alot about the company.
I have no problem people liking over brands etc etc but your trying to say Yarrah is an untrustworthy company and thats wrong... they are the ONLY pet food in country that can say there products are 100% organic...
anyways good chat, like you say will leave it at that.

I didn't say it was untrustworthy, I said it was a bad food. The ingredients speak for themselves. Anyone with eyes can see.
Comparing two dogs foods makes no sense?....hmmm, okay.
Like I said, the ingredients show is very, very clearly not worth the price tag. You can get better food for £20. Fact.
Off the top of my head, lilys kitchen is completely organic, as is natural dog food company, so is organipets and hermans organic, burns do an all organic feed, defu is also organic, and thats just off the top of my head. So the only organic company is a lie also.
It's a crap food, and if you're buying it you're being ripped of. Simple fact. The ingredients do all the talking.
Pedigree contains all the required vits and minerals. Doesn't make it good food. Any dog food that labels itself as complete must, by law contain all the vits and minerals needed. That means zip.Sigless0 -

Lillys kitchen - Not 100% organic
natural dog food company - not 100% organic its natural like almost every dog food company can say.
organipets is organic but costs more than Yarrah and only do dry food
Hermans i dont of them.
Defu - this is the only one i can agree on with you but Yarrah's factorys make it for them plus its a German company with no partnership in the UK...
You like simpsons.. thats cool, and im glad your dog/cat likes them, all im saying is you cant fault YARRAH!0 -
Not sure how to get the free samples - it says free samples with each order (postage £5.99) or there is a box which try for free but when you click on it the wording is VIA our newsletter - it doesn't state that samples will be sent out?Entering a few comps here and there 2020 seems my best year for wins so far:- iphone xs, limited edition whiskey, Masha and the Bear toys, newborn baby stuff, 3 x books, 12 months membership to diet app, bottle of syrup, Baby Shark singing puppet, children’s book, Nasty vegan shake x 2 packs.0
