I was linked to this thread on another thread where I mentioned about having M.E and wanting to start a family. I got a mixed reaction. Some believing it's not fair on the child. Others saying that I can't just wait until I get better.
I agree with the person who said that you can't just put your life on hold but I feel like some people have this view that those who are ill shouldn't be allowed children.
What would happen if someone had kids and then got ill? They'd still have health problems, wouldn't they?
How is having the health problems before having kids any different to having them and then getting ill?
