Shipping exlusions

Is anybody else having trouble with shipping exclusions. I'm getting buyers from myexcluded locations. I contacted ebay about this who say there is a technical problem on their side which will be resolved "soon".

Anyone else having trouble with this ?

Yes I'm having the same thing, specifically bids from Italy. I've checked all my settings and they are all OK. I'm about to contact ebay about it.

Why do I ever waste time talking to them? Perfectly pleasant, unbelievably dim operator just could not grasp the problem. His menu clearly didn't include it. Going to pour a large drink.

From my own experience with them they will deny everything.

I complained because i kept getting logged out of ebay, Nobody else uses my computer so i have no need
to keep logging out.

Lost out on some bargains because i snipe with a few seconds to go and got annoyed when i had to login before
the bid was processed. Obviously i didnt have time.

They denied all knowledge of this problem, Then a few weeks later it rolled out to everyone, Only keeps you logged
in for 24 hours.

Reported a seller for selling a vacuum for 99p with a 98.99 postage fee, They said they can see nothing wrong with
that listing.

What I don't get is why people don't just put the more expensive courier price to italy, that way you may still get a few of the italian sales, but would avoid the italian postal system

I don't use couriers- so I exclude Italy

Still can't beat RM for convenience. When I work, like I did today I wrap the night before and take the stuff already stamped to the delivery centre on my way to work- so about 7.30am today. The mail centre is on the way to the railway station if i get a lift so about a 2 minute diversion in the car.

I like my business very streamlined as it means i have to give it very little attention (apart from the endless wrapping) and means I can also work outside the home as well without interfering with my sales.

Delightful Italian bidder says she completely understands why I block Italy 'it is a total cr*p for the postal services'. It's a small value item - if she wins I think I'll just cross my fingers.
