Hi does anyone have recommendations for a desktop pc with a monitor 19-20 inches would be fine.
Its for an 8 year old i would prefer desktop as opposed to laptop....not top of the range approx £350-£380 budget
For christmas present and preferably wifi enabled .... is it possible or are my expectations too unrealistic.
Thanks in advance

Thanks for the pointers had just been on the Medion site earlier too.....I have a Medion in the other childs room this is a solution to stop the fights over it i hope. It was an Aldi special and has been faultless to date was looking at the Argos one argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5083709/Trail/searchtext%3EMEDION+DESKTOP.htm but would you say this was a much better option from Medion direct though neither have Wifi i think .... is it easy to modify i would rather something internal as opposed to a dongle.
Thanks for the help so far0 -

Forgot about the Wireless specification. It is very easy, either to fit a PCI card(internal) or just to plug a USB modem in. PCI card from around £7. USB modem from £5.
Of course the difference with Aldi/Lidl is that you get a 3 year warranty.0 -
Also you can keep an eye on this page. A combo will turn up for £249 soon enough.
I'm just not impressed with puny 19" screens without LED backlighting. So if you do decide to go for the smaller screen(to prevent in-fighting), then at least get an LED backlit, such as this one.
Any dead pixels, send it back within seven working days.0 -
I purchased my last PC from www.awd-it.co.uk. Fantastic service and blinding systemsEstate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0
