Hi looking for some advice.
I have a ceramic house number tile for my house.
The brick work is textured ie not flat.
What is the best way to attache tile to the brick.
Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks.

Clear silicone bathroom sealant. Clean the area concerned. Run a nice thick bead just inside the tile dimensions. Press tile in place and hold it there. Clean any sealant away from edges of tile. Two pieces of sticky tape across the face of the tile to hold it to the brickwork overnight whilst the silicone sets.
Job done.

Thanks, I will try that.0

You would be better of with Sticks Like adhesive, Instant grab as long as the tile is not too heavy
Silicone is designed to seal not bondHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0 -
Silicone is fine for this type of application. It will also provide a seal around the outside of the tile so that water can't get in, freeze and then crack the tile.
As far as bonding is concerned let the OP try and get the tile off without breaking it once it has cured.

How did out go with the tiles. I am just about to do the same job. Did you use silicone or the other suggestion for your number tiles? I am about to put a couple of tiles (smaller than a6) onto my pebble dash exterior wall. Any advice would be welcome.thanks.0

I would use a full bed of waterproof tile adhesive. Cement based stuff such as Everbuild 705 as you have one porous surface ( i.e. the bricks).Forgotten but not gone.0

The best way to attach a tile to a cementious wall surface/floor surface is to make use of an adhesive which can hold this. Cement would not be the only option in such a case. You can use Roff Stone Tile Adhesive which is the best in the market and very effective.0
