I said you COULD have waited. Replying to your orginal post saying you paid 60p for 15 minutes. And it was free
after 6pm at that time..

Now its not free but your not paying double the night fee your paying for upto 1hr of parking and the night fee with
having to wait and pay at the machine at 6:01pm.

If you park after 6pm then you only pay the night fee simples... No matter how hard you try to make it not simples.

You paid for 1hr parking even though you could have waited 15 minutes and not paid.
