Last week we had telewests 3 for £30 tv telephone and broadband installed, my question is this. Is it normal for the light labelled modem on the tv cable box (Scientific Atlanta) to be flashing all the time? It was flashing continuously for the first day, then it stopped but now has been flashing since yesterday morning. Is this right? Thanks for any help.

Hi,
I think you will find out that this is normal. Telewest send signals down the cables to update the boxes. When we upgraded to the HD drive this happened for the first 24 hours, and also we hear it updating usually overnight. All should be ok providing all your services are working ok.0 -
Thanks for that it just to be such a long time, thought there may be a problem, but allthe services are working ok so I guess not.0

are you familiar with newsgroups? Telewest have their own set of newsgroups where you can post questions and get answers pretty quickly direct from their technical staff. It's usually easier than phoning up. If you use news.blueyonder.co.uk and search for blueyonder you should find lots of them, there will be one specific to TV questions.It's my problem, it's my problem
