Have a Skoda Fabia. Up now for its second service. The Skoda garage is on an industrial site miles from anywhere. We have the car on a lease type agreement where the money owing at the end of three years is enough to cover debt.
What I want to know can I go to say Quick Fit and have the service done?? Will it mess the agreement up? Ireally do not want to stand around for hours at there Garage like i did last time.
Many thanks.

It will be in your leasing agreement. But I assume yes, as the manufactors garage are generally the better garages. Certainly better than Kwik Sh**.
  • i know you can use any vat registered garage as long as they use genuine parts to still keep your warrantee on your car . my car is on the same kind of thing as yours and i wont be going to no main dealers for a service.

Depends on the vehicle. The common opinion on MSE seems to be that Kwik Fit are rubbish, however I do not agree with that entirely and I think it depends from garage to garage.

Only last week I had my 55 reg petrol Focus MK2 serviced and MOTd at one of their centres in Reading for the grand sum of £78 (with a Warranty Direct discount code). They did all the checks and have not failed anything, only advised on the brakes but that was expected as I need to sort out the discs soon.

Can't you get them to do you a courtesy car for the day - my nearest skoda garage which is a fair distance away were fine with that, with enough warning.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
