Awwwwww, poor wee lamb - a lot of bruising is to be expected but to have all the comps on top .....
Hope she's had as comfortable a night as possible (and you managed to grab a wink or two).
Please give her a gentle wee (((hug))) from me and keep us updated.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Thank you :-)
She seemed a lot more relaxed last night, and had a good nights sleep. I kept checking on her, and gently rubbing her ears (they love that).
I don't suppose she will be very happy when we set off back there this morning, it is about an hour and a half drive, but we will be bringing her back (hopefully)
I hope you and yours are well :-)0 -
Glad she's had an OK night - being home will have made a huge difference to her as they never settle/feel totally safe when away from home/loved ones.
Hope everything goes OK today - please let us know how she gets on.
Thanks for the well wishes - my ancient lab is currently flat out snoring on the sofa;) after having a much better day yesterday than the past few (his arthritis has been playing up:( - think it's the change in the weather). DMs dog is also a lot more "herself" and doing really well (fingers crossed).Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Poor little girl - but you would be amazed how quickly they can recover. I do think animals, particularly dogs, are wonderful how they cope with things like this.
I will pray she is soon up and about and well xxx0 -
Thank you rising from the ashes and Hethmar. The vet was very pleased wih her progress and took the drain out. He was also really pleased with the fact that her blood count had risen, more quicklythan he thought it might apparently.
She is still terribly bruised and of course her scar still looks awful, but at least it isn't leaking now.
We have to take her back on Sunday morning and hopefully the results from the tissue which was removed will be back. The sample that they looked at seemed benign, but they want comfirmation from the lab. Should it turn out that there is a possibility of the tissue becoming cancerous, she will have to have the other side operated on in a couple of weeks. Obviously we are hoping the results will show that it is benign, then they will leave her a month.
She has responded well to being at home, mind you -who wouldn't? and was really happy when we brought her back home again today.
Have a nice evening0 -
So pleased to hear this, came on before I went to bed to check on her
Give her a kiss from me and OH. The scar will look awful now, we said to our Lucy she would never be able to wear her bikini again - but you know, a year later and you wouldnt notice, except for the missing teats

Hi thanks for posting this, just at the moment she looks like she has gone 10 rounds with Cassius Clay (showing my age now) so your words are very reassuring.
Kisses given and much appreciated0 -
Great to hear she's doing so well - keeping everything crossed for the results.
Hope you've managed to get a bit more sleep last night!Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)
