Apologies in advance to macfly for asking a potentially numpty question that I should be able to answer myself, but....
I have just sold my first item on ebay, hurrah. However, do I have to send an invoice myself to the buyer, or does the system do it automatically? Payment is to be by paypal if that makes any difference.
TIA

ebay will send a "you've won" email that will have a Pay now tab on it, so no need to send an invoice.0

Depends on whether you've given different postage prices - you may have to send one via paypal.
but if it's a straight price then it's done automatically. just make sure the payment has cleared BEFORE you post out the item!0 -
Thanks, I thought it was automatic but there was the option to send an invoice when I went into my "sold" listing so was a bit confused. Definitely won't send until am told I can, and to the confirmed address. I have learnt so much just lurking on this forum.:j

I tend to send an invoice if buyer doesn't pay straight away.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
