why does there need to be a thread on this subject on this board when there is already an existing one on the Groceries board?

I started that thread but my laptop is broken and I can't efficiently update it from my phone, I posted earlier asking someone to repost by copying my op so that the thread can continue to be updated periodically and kept current, I'm sure this one will be moved to the grocery board too.

I did post an update to the Gorton store but it obviously hasn't made it through to the collater ...

Gorton (which perhaps should be duplicated as Manchester Gorton) has a working scanner in the Homeware section, same aisle as the lightbulbs.
