In a nutshell my surname has changed since my account closed with WFS. I've been trying to re-claim the miss sold PPI but they keep returning the form because they think my bank details are wrong.
I've written to them several times explaining I got married in 2009 and my surname has changed, I've included copies of my marriage certificate and birth certificate but they seem to completely ignore this and continue to return the form addressed to 'The executor of Miss *****' and say that the deceased claimant supplementary form is missing.
So I keep writing back to them explaining the bank details are my own, and that it is the same account number given at the time of taking out the loan and asking them to send me a deceased claimant form, even though it's not required because I'm very much alive!
I feel like I'm going round in circles, can anyone give me any advice?

Hi there, ring them and tell them you are sick of being messed about and you are putting a complaint into FOS,if they dont deal with this.
You have given them all the info they need, you can do no more.0 -
kinda reminds me of a problem i had with my first claim, they said they wanted proof of who i was due to an error with the name on the form (it showed miss instead of ms!!!!) so i had to get my driving licence photocopied and verified, in the meantime i questioned it via email & was told they didnt need it!!!!! welcome finance are great arent they?0

Thanks for your replies.
I sent the form back yet again yesterday, with a letter typed in 18. arial font explaining they are my bank details, I'm not dead and that if the form is returned to me again I shall complain to the FOS.
I included a photocopy of my passport (which is still in my maiden name) a photocopy of my provisional driving licence (married name, Just to prove I am who I say I am) a photocopy of my bank card (card number crossed out in permanent marker) just to show the account name and number and another copy of my marriage and birth certificate.
Hopefully this will suffice!0 -
