We had a wooden one for our 2.5yr opld and he was only just tall enough so don't go too early as they may get scared off by it
Bought ours on ebay froma German seller and is well made and lasted well and still looks new now. Just don't leave it outside obviously!
Teaches balance on a bike at an early age which is the hardest skill, without worrying about pedalling and brakes aswell0
