Just returned from Tesco but none of the Sacla sauces are on offer (as reported earlier). I tried scanning in store but each variety came up as £1.99.
Managed to get the small packs of Wrights bread mixes on 3 for 2 (using 3 x 30p coupons) even though it was only the larger packets that were marked 3 for 2!
Handed over my coupons at the end of transaction but SA made a mistake and finalised the bill before taking off my coupons so I had to go to Customer Services to get them refunded. There they tried to tell me that they no longer take coupons unless they are Tesco specific ones. I had to re-educate them by advising that it was only the conditional spend coupons that this applied to. Eventually they agreed to put them through. I had a similar conversation with a supervisor a couple of days ago - I wish Tesco would train their staff properly!:mad:0 -

I agree with you, its annoying (but thrilling at the same time) not knowing what reaction you are going to get.
Had a few nasty experiences last week but will hopefully fade quickly from the memory - I always try to remember the bad ones that just try to be awkward for no clear reason and stick with the peeps that enjoy their job - shopping is supposed to be enjoyable. :rotfl:I'd like to teach the World to sing in perfect Harmony:j

if sacla for 99p at Mr M is over? I went to Mr M today and it was 1,98.
I agree with the others posting about staff not knowing their own coupon policy - would make shopping far less stressful and OH wouldn't look like he'd rather be anywhere than shopping with me.It's 5 o'clock somewhere!0 -

I was in both Tesco and Waitrose on Saturday and I made a point at looking at the Bottlegreen to see what flavours they stock
We have been away for a few days so just chatching up but I now have 2 excuses to go to Sainsburys - Bottlegreen and the 25% clothes sale“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove. Every day will allow you, --will invite you to add something to the pleasure of others, --or to diminish something of their pains.”0 -
