I have a 20Gb iPod, and when it dies I plan to buy something MUCH smaller. My music collection on the PC is now 60GB+ (nearly 40 days of continuous music), but I find that on the iPod I have too much choice so I still only listen to the same old tracks day in, day out.
I think it'll be a 1 or 2GB one next time round - ScanDisk do one which had good reviews, and also has the option of getting an SD memory card to pop in to expand the space if needed in the future.0 -
People will argue the iPod is over priced etc etc blah blah but the menu and ease of use haven't been matched by any other player imhoNeil0

No. For example, if you get a Shuffle then you can configure iTunes so that every time you plug in your Shuffle it copies over a random assortment of tracks up to the maximum capacity of the Shuffle, currently 1Gb. Alternatively you can make up playlists of favourite tracks and copy them over.0 -

Only 2GB though, but I can assure you that's a LOT of tracks.
Look out for vouchers and go through Quidco for extra savings.
I did reply to your post but in a very mad rush!!! Anyways, I've since been in to Dixons and seen the same product!! Really liked it and the assistant was preferring it to the nano! The price is an obvious bonus!!
Is this easy to transfer songs on to?
Is it easy to change what songs you have on there?
Any limitations/features you wish it had?
Does it use i-tunes?
Sorry for the influx of quesitons!!!0 -
Sorry, just seen this.
It doesn't use iTunes, you just drag and drop the files like a memory stick.
That's as much as I know, I'm afraid.
It uses a weird video format though, but you get some software to convert .avi files. I don't think you would put an entire film on there but she has a few pop videos.
Apart from that the only drawback I can see is that you won't get a huge range of accessories for it as you would with an ipod.0 -
hmmmmmmmmmm.... how about sound quality, gapless playback, ease of use, synchronisation with iTunes (& store), album artworks, smooth podcasting, mirad of accessories available........ do you want me to keep going?faz7875 wrote:Nothing. It's just well overpriced!
Quite unlikely that the Millions who own an iPod have been stupidly overpriced.
I am sorry but you have either never owned an iPod or just being jealous for not having one.:ADo I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????0
