in Credit cards
Morning folks,
I have been approved and am awaiting delivery of a new Barclaycard Platinum (22 month 0% balance transfer offer) credit card.
I plan to shift the last of our credit card balance to this new card as our current 0% rate with Natwest runs out in December.
Natwest have been fantastic, with excellent online service and billing dates etc.
My question is, does the Barclaycard have a specific date for statements and payments each month, or does it vary?
Natwest were due payments on the 18th of every month, which was great as it NEVER changed
Thanks folks

No idea about barclaycard specifically, but in general, statement dates are generated randomly when the account is opened. It won't change after that unless you ask them (for example if you want the payment date to coincide with your monthly salary date)We need the earth for food, water, and shelter.
The earth needs us for nothing.
The earth does not belong to us.

I think it is done on when you opened the account. I opened my account with them begining of Feb and my statements always seem to come in around the 5th of the month every month.0

Barclaycard statements are a wee bit weird.
When I queried I was told I was on billing cycle 9, which means my statement is produced on the 9th working day of the month.
So my October statement is on the 13th
My November Statement is on 11th,
My December Statement is on 13th again.
Hope this helps.0 -
Barclaycard sometimes randomly move their statement & due dates around, been a fair bit of coverage on here and in the press in recent years,

Know this from experience too, since I've had a BC since 2005.0 -
Thanks for the info guys

I e-mailed them and confirmed the dates the bill is produced and when payment is due. They gave me specific dates for this bill rather than "9th working day of every month" as said by another post.
So may have to check with them again in the future to confirm.0
