Hello :j
Just for the record my boss doesn't give a hoot about charging mobiles at work - some of us have work mobiles so that we can check emails out of office (so boss can hassle us at a distance and ask daft questions :rotfl:) so you would in any case expect these to be charged at work - I don't always though
Today:
Froze tomato puree a la Hugh Fearnley-Wotsit that I made yesterday in ice cube trays
Froze cooked pears - OH has a thing about tinned pears
so I did some HM ones (peeled, cored and cooked them gently in syrup with some lemon juice) with a boxful we were given off someone's tree. They turned out very nice
much nicer than the tinned sort :rotfl:
Checked online banking
HM meals, including yummy soup for lunch for me at work, and OH at home, as he was here today - there is enough for a couple more days as well :T
Quiche, also made at the weekend for dinner, with pear and raspberry crumble for pud
Got OH to drop me at the station as a season ticket for the car park is not cost effective this month due to leave.
Free paper on train to work
Sold a book on Amazon
Must find it and pack it ready for posting tomorrow
Not a NSD though, as I succumbed to a lovely red velvet bag as I walked past the Age Concern shop - a new one, designed by someone famous for that kind of thing I gather (I am not knowledgeable in that department I am afraid
). It is lovely though! I might buy some more for Xmas presents for DDs 1 &2 and DiL, as they seem to have a range of colours. Mine is red! I shouldn't think they will hang around for long, as they are really lovely - even though £15, which is a lot for me to spend on a bag  Oh well, all the cooking I did at the weekend and the book sale will cover it I guess

Good Evening all
Pixie - Thanks for starting us off
Sorry I'm so late in the day but better late than never, I really love this thread and the help and support you guys offer. Well today has been a bit of a write-off, LO was ill all night again so spent some time at the docs and they believe he now has pharyngitis and have advised rest and painkillers, so we spent all afternoon in bed, then he's spent this evening throwing up, so just going to check a few bits and then back to bed methinks.
Hope everyone else had a great weekend and a great day, hugs and best wishes to all that need them
Today's little list, (very repititive, but feel better for listing)
Check Banks - still going to be very tight
Check Swapits (for LO) and relist cards not swapped
Update food tracker (another 1/2lb off) - in progress
Read (The Appeal - John Grisham)
Love to you all
