OK really shouldn't suggest this but.... we did it a couple of times in emergencies....
Have you any direct debits still to come out this month? When we were in dire straits a long time ago I used to cancel a DD (by internet banking) and then when it bounced just used to shrug my shoulders and deny all knowledge... I had to of course pay it a couple of weeks later AND pay bank fees on top but it gave us money for food & petrol in the meantime ...
I would NEVER do this now, because we have a handle on our outgoings and I would NEVER recomend this to anyone usually.... but if you literally have nothing to live on and nothing to eat ....
What about next month? Have you got everything sorted for then? Don't forget you can offer token payments whilst your DMP is being set up!0 -
If you did not have this card pop through your letter box, you would have done something - and said "I don't have a choice". So now you have this card, you do have a choice.greenbrucelee wrote: »I know what your saying but I dont really have a choice otherwise by the time my dmp is in place I will have so much interest on one of my debts it will be astronomical.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
