Long Life Brake Fluids?!

I have a 1994 Toyota Corolla T-Spirit D-4D, turbo-diesel.
Despite the age of the car, it has done only 50,000 miles.

The coolant has a 10-year life, but the brake fluid change interval is 2 years. Cos hydraulic fluids absorb moisture, I guess.

So I was curios when I saw ads for Motul DOT 5.1 100% synthetic brake fluid. It claims to be long life.
But no claims as to how long is "long life"

It claims, "Typical service life up to 10 years for DOT 5.1 Extra Long Life Formula"

Googling for 'long life brake fluid' found few others making similar claims.
Any views on these 'long life' brake fluids?!
Would they be compatable with the hoses, seals and bits used in the good old Corolla?

This reminds me that I must get a brake fluid and coolant change ready for the winter. I was advised to get it done before last winter when I had a service done 18 months ago.

Your old system should be DOT 3 or DOT 4 (but check just to be 100%), these will mix with DOT 5.1 as they are all glycol based. It is DOT 5 that will not mix as it is silicon based and will majorly muck things up unless properly flushed.

The spec sheet for Motul "long-life" still says 12-24 months in accordance with car manufacturers instructions.

Considering even the local Ford main dealer only charges £30 for a brake fluid change, there isn't any point leaving it more than 3 years.
