Help with choosing a HTML web design book

Hi,

Dont know if anyone here can help at all - im after a HTML website designing book (think the new version is HTML 5?)

I need to buy one for my husbands birthday but I have no idea which one is best - if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.

As the web is a visual medium the best books for this type of thing are the ones that can at least show the intended results - visualy - avoid the ones that are just full of text - pointless.
