Problem with Ebay sale

Options
Hi Guys

I am looking for a bit of advice for what to do next.

A few days ago I sold a pair of ski trousers on ebay.

Upon checking the buyer details to send them an invoice I noticed that the buyer was from Cyprus even though I stated in the postage details delivery to UK only.

I contacted them and asked if they had a confirmed delivery address in the UK for me to send the trousers to.
They responded saying they didn't but would pay the extra postage.
I contacted them again to say I would not post out of the UK.

Can any one advise me as to what to do next as I don't wish to incur any sellers fees noe do I wish to receive a neg for not sending the trousers.

Cheers Jim

Phone ebay and tell them that the winning bidder is from a country you don't ship to, and get them to cancel the auction.
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Pinkshoes, I'm not sure ebay will cancel auctions for this reason any more as they do expect sellers to set their selller requirements.

OP no one can force you to sell of course but by all means try phoning ebay, but if they don't help (and I suspect they will just refer you to their seller settings) you may be faced with some poor feedback and stars and of course you would be stuck with your fees.

For future reference set yoru seller preferences to exclude bidders you don't want (details here in tips for new sellers)

However it might really be worth considering shipping these, especially if they are not expensive and postage requirements for paypal seller protection are here:

You can check RM postage here
