MBNA Amex card - credit score

Sorry if this is already out there in some shape or form.

My wife and I have recently had our MBNA VISA cards renewed and have automatically acquired additional AMEX equivalents. I don't remember asking for this, and whilst AMEX presents some strong incentives, have our credit ratings been altered unknowingly?

Cheers
:)

No. You have got one visa and Amex card. The credit limit and everything else is the same. You will get two reward points for £ with Amex card and one point for visa.

MBNA make more money from you using amex, therefore can reward you with more cashback, just activate cards, use as normal, try and use amex as main card, the only thing you need to do is update the reference if you pay via faster payment/bacs (DD will auto update) :)
