memory foam mattress

I got mine in the smoke damaged sale at Reids on Boucher Rd a few months ago. It was reduced from £699 to.. wait for it... £75. Including the bed base. It was slightly smoke damaged, making the mattress dirty but my mum steam cleaned it and it came out fine.

And its soooo comfortable too.

I have used this company in the past and will definitely again. They offer free delivery to N. Ireland and while UK mainland delivery is next day they phoned me to apologise, that my mattress would take 2 days to deliver. I found them to be the cheapest and cannot fault in any way.

Hi I totally agree - got my memory foam mattress last week from Mattressman.co.uk and I can't fault them - quick delivery - great bed and great customer service. And the delivery man took away all the packaging which was great.:j

Hi,

I bought a Silentnight Memory 700 mattress from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/HeavenlyBeds yesterday and it arrived this morning. These are selling for £359 on the mattressman site (rrp £499). The ebay store is selling them for £199 buy it now (£26 delivery).

Not tried it yet but the wife's unpacked it this morning and put it on the bed - she says it feels unbelievably comfortable

What is the basis of that damning statement ?

You seem to spend quite a lot of time derating your competitors which in my book is the sign of a poor salesman and dare I say it someone not to be trusted ... sorry. A statement of fact about the poor quality of a product from an unbiased source is one thing ... but ....

Do you mind..........I sell high quality beds and mattresses, and I take a lot of notice of what customers say to me. When on numerous occasions customers have told me horror stories about certain brands, and how long they last, then I take notice.

I have been told on at least five occasions about Silentnigh mattresses that arrived with springs poking through, or broken springs. And I have lost count of the number of people who have told me about silentnight mattresses needing to be replaced after only two years. I've heard similar reports about a few other well known manufacturers, but none as bad as Silentnight.

I didn't make any comments about the seller of the mattress, and I didn't say they were a bad seller. I have never derated my competitors in any way at all. I don't make beds, I sell them. I could sell any make I wanted to, but there are a few makes out there that I would never sell because we would only sell quality makes.

I'm not on here to sell beds. I'm on here to give honest advice because all too often I hear about people being given wrong information about mattresses. So why not politely ask the question rather than being abusive.:mad:

Many of those references are from other people. I actually found this site in the first place when I noticed that quite a few people had visited my site via links that had been placed on this site by other people.
