Reversing the door on an Indesit Fridge (model SAN400)?

Does any one have any experience of reversing the door on an Indesit fridge? We've had the budget large larder one (the SAN 400) delivered today and to make it useful we need to change the hinge from right to left.
The "instructions" consist of a very badly laid out diagram and although I seem to be able to follow it, it doesn't work......
The door ends up being too low or too high.....
I'll bother Indesit tomorrow but I wondered if anyone had any tips.
Cheers.

I have recently replaced the door on my fridge as the internal mouldings had broken and the shelves were likely to fall out.
Not an Indesit but from the same group.
It basically had a a screw top and bottom passing through a flange at the top and a bracket at the bottom ( both with a plastic rim/liner push fitted into the hole , they only fit one way as there is al ocating peg offset) into plastic plugs already in the door.
The bottom one also had a plastic washer/spacer. (This dropped out when I took the door off. I realised when I had put the new door on and it was "loose" the first time.
The door wasn't and isn't a precise fit there is a degree of "float" in it.
The magnetic seal does "grab" the fridge rim as it closes and ends up being an "average" fit"If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

The fitting is the same left or right."If you act like an illiterate man, your learning will never stop... Being uneducated, you have no fear of the future.".....

That's exactly as it sounds......
I've done all the requisite steps and it still doesn't work. Annoying thing is that all I can do is get an engineer to come in and they charge £50 if nothing is wrong.......
I'm sure it is faulty, but........0
