Hi everyone, I have a Texaco CC which expires this year and I want to cancel it, however when I phone CS the line is dead, there doesn't appear to be a website anymore, can anyone enlighten me on how I can cancel the card.

My target for this year is to pay off my last CC and reduce my loan as much as poosible

there should be an address on your monthly bills from them, send a letter to them in writting telling them to close the account.
If you can find out the bank behind the card you could contact them via the phone probably.:money: IT Geek & Martin Wannabee :money:0 -
Hi Goldmercury, I have had the card since May 2005 and I have never used it so no statements, I think they are owned by LLoyds TSB but not certain, thanks for help.

I agree that Texaco was a brand owned by LTSB.
Some time ago they brought a lot of cards like this in house so if you have not already had a replacement LTSB credit card I would suggest that the account is already closed.0 -
Thanks ejones999, I have had a LTSB credit card for over 20 years but I have never rceived any literature telling me that the Texaco card was of no use or cancelled. I have sent away for credit reports so there may be some info in them.My target for this year is to pay off my last CC and reduce my loan as much as poosible

Give their card services a ring. They could for instance have amalgamated your limit onto your LTSB card.0 -
