You Tube videos to iPad

Hello

Apologies if this has already been posted but I was wondering if anyone knew a good way to get videos from you tube (trailers, web series, etc) onto the iPad to view offline? I want something to make my commute to work a bit more exciting and I don't have the 3G iPad.

Obviously for 'backup' purposes only...

Firefox, install the following 'addon': https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-downloadhelper/

Browse to YTube page, you'll see 3 circles rotating on the address bar. click the V button and select the version you want. Once downloaded to your pc you'll need to convert it to Ipad compatability.
