Just wondered if anyone had one and how you found it? I have a very short commute to work but there is quite a steep hill on the way back so I was thinking about one for the home leg!

I bought one four years ago whilst recovering from spinal problems and it was truly a fantastic way to travel.

After a year I'd recovered and sold it instantly on Ebay.

They are becoming very common, there are currently two of my staff who use them for commuting and at the moment the best vfm has to be the new range from Dawes.

Although Decathlon have begun offering a slightly cheaper but very similar bike.

I see enough people riding these on the way to work. They seem to keep up a reasonable speed with minimal effort although I can go faster on my road bike without too much effort. If the hill is the only thing putting you off it might still be worth considering a normal bike as it wont take long to get used to the climb.

Having said that, it might be better to go for the electric bike if you don't want to work up too much of a sweat.

Hill is on the way home so arriving at work sweating is not an issue.
