critical illness

hello everyone, thisis my first post and hope someone can give me some advise,i have been paying payment protection cover with my critical illness plan can i claim this back,thanks all.

    Do you mean like Waiver of Premium? ie if your off work sick for x amount of time (usually 3 or 6 months) then this will kick and pay your premiums?

    If so then no.

    Waiver of Premium only cost a very small amount per month.

    If you are talking about something else then could you explain a bit more.

    payment protection is not built into critical illness cover plans. It would be waiver of premium which is not a short term insurance like PPI but a long term insurance. So, WOP is not PPI.

    Even if it was PPI you would still need a reason for complaint. There is nothing wrong with having PPI. Indeed, most PPI redress payments are only due to lack of eligibility or single premium. Neither of which could apply to Waiver Of Premium as it is monthly and underwritten at point of sale (not point of claim like PPI).
