Looking to replace my old 17” CRT monitor with a larger screen, would appreciate thoughts/opinions on this one from Acer.
Also would it be OK for my, also, old computer; -
Windows XP Home edition
Version 2002
Service Pack 3
AMD Athlon[tm]XP 1800+
1.50 GHz. 512 Mbof RAM
I won’t be gaming or anything of similar ilk.

Looks a bit expensive for a bog-standard 24"
Have a look here - http://www.ebuyer.com/search?sort=pricelow&store=5&cat=12&filtersubcat=2097&filterca149=1920+x+1080&limit=10&page=1
Also, what graphics card do you have? You may have to upgrade that to power the 1080PHope over Fear. #VoteYes0 -

Didn't think it was bog standard? It is full HD, with all the connections,VGA, HDMI and DVI interfaces, and a 3 year warranty.
Where would I find the details for the graphics card?

It's a couple of years old now, but I'm very pleased with my 24" BenQ G2420HDBL. It's lit by LEDs which are great for minimising eyestrain, and the image is really sharp. The only bad points are the lack of adjustability on the stand and colour accuracy (which you aren't going to notice unless you're a professional photographer).
It's perfect for office use, watching videos, etc. And it was only about £160! Also on my shortlist was a Dell costing over a grand - I'm glad I didn't go for that one as I can't really see how the image could be better than what I've got.0 -

Failing that, download AIDA64 and do a scan.Hope over Fear. #VoteYes0 -
