Pin machines in Halifax branches?

Does anybody know when customers will be able to use pin machines in Halifax branches? I asked earlier on in the year, March I think, when will we be able to use them, was told July, then August, the last time September. Has anybody got any new info?

Hopefully not long, like the ones in Lloyds TSB, as soon as you put your card and enter your pin number information must pop up on their screens cause they start using my name to ask how they can help me. Now that's just a little extra ;-)

I paid a cheque into my Halifax account using the pin machine about 2 weeks ago if that helps?

They are up and running now in branches but only for current accounts and not Easycash/Cardcash (i.e. Electron).

If you don't know the PIN don't worry you can still withdraw using the slips but you may need extra ID that's all.
