ITV3 have been showing promotions for a while soliciting (premium rate) votes for the ITV3 Crime Thriller awards up to and including this morning. The problem is the voting closed days ago, the award ceremony has been held and the prize awarded (to Peter James - hurray!).
Whilst the closing date is mentioned as an aside in the "small print" of the promotion why on earth keep promoting it if not to encourage people to vote?
Hopefully most MSE members are too savvy to vote via premium rate numbers in any case.

That's one for the ASA - ITV will get a slapped wrist, but they do take the ASA pretty seriously, it is their lifeblood.
