Putting the * in T*sco and $ in A$da - Why?

Can anybody tell me why people are doing this?

I'm continuously seeing posts where people are putting N*w Look or T$sco or Asda S*uthampton.

Is there any specific reason for doing this? Am I missing out on something? (hate missing out on things ;)...)
It's wouldn't have not wouldn't of, shouldn't have not shouldn't of and couldn't have not couldn't of. Geddit?

i think it is because they are afraid they will get banned from a store or it will highlight the glitches and they will lose out

But I've just read a post where one MSE'r has written something along the lines of 'must get some new work clothes, will try T*sco or N%w Look'.

What harm will it do to write the store names normally if you're only talking about buying new clothes?

You can tell it's getting to me, can't you...

Simple explanation. The 'e' on their keyboard no longer works.
