Download music to psp

From the few searches I have done, it looks like this is a bit of a minefield!

Can anyone please talk me through (in very basic terms) how to download onto a PSP from either itunes or Windows Media.

dont use eitehr itunes or windows media player

use windows explorer its alot easier.

connect the psp tot he usb cable go all the way tot he left in the psp menu and up to USB connection and hit x

the psp will now install as a drive on the PC
find the mp3 files you want to copy over
open my computer and double click the new drive normally e or f
double click psp and then double click music
drag and drop the files you want to the \psp\music folder

you can transfer folders if you want to move a full album what ever it iwll be displayed in the music bit on the psp menu once it has transfered.

I have tried the above method with mine and it's never worked. It adds to the memory card but it is unplayable on a PSP. In the end I purchased a program off ebay for £1.99 called the PSP Video converter.
