Would you buy these bags of rubbish?

As per Crowqueen, I can't see any seller lasting long selling sight unseen goods. The first person to get something tatty or unsaleable is going to hammer the stars and feedback- then bye bye account.
If you are new to ebay you really need to consider the buyer more as they are the ones who decide ultimately whether you survive on ebay or not.
If the buyer could see what they were getting it would be OK, no harm in it (well, except for all the other listing violations) but this is the classic pig-in-a-poke and it's banned."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

The buyer is everything, I know this. My comments may not suggest that sometimes so don't think the wrong way about me.
I deal with many idiots on a day to day basis so this tends to rub off on any opinions i have, it is just banter though0 -

I've just had to put up with a buyer asking for weight and dimensions of an item I am selling- but where weight and dimensions are clearly shown in auction terms. So my buyers won't read my auction description yet the seller being discussed here can sell a bag of mixed- unstated items for £7-madness isn't it?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. It's cash 'n' collect tho, so you might be able to see what's in them before paying0

Weren't there reports of people being nicked for using hooks to grab bags of clothes from the charity bins at supermarkets? Maybe this is where they all end up?
yes there was, it was on the 1 show last week, someone got stuck inside the bin so the fire service and police were called0 -

They are trying all the buzzwords that speak to a buyer's psyche on these listings (except the pictures which look like bin-bags at a tip and put me right off) and it's been banned by eBay, so even if everything was straight up they are doing something actionable.
Now, obviously, they are fairly new, they will learn not to do it, but in that case they need to learn what's OK and what's not now."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4

Is it 'Pavlog's dogs', but I'm starting to become very curious about the contents of these bin bags!:D
Anyone near enough to have a rifle through?0 -
Well, we are not too far away, that is how I found it, looking at everything in this area. But I am not going to throw my money away and waste petrol!0

Sellers like this who push psychological buttons knowing full well they are enticing people in probably to buy something that probably isn't worth the petrol to go and collect it are the scum of the earth. It's just about OK to do it inadvertently (someone put an auction up a week or two ago for size 13 shoes, with the only mention of them being children's size 13 in the category heading - which is way out of eyeline on the top of the auction in size 1 font and a buyer searching for "size 13" wouldn't have seen that category either...very misleading, inadvertently, but the person yelled blue murder when we told them it was too ambiguous for buyers to know which size 13 they were getting - and then to cap it all refused to honour their "returns accepted" policy, which is unlawful even in a private seller), but misleading auctions like that are done in the full knowledge that people will get excited about their old tat.
Just like the people who say "could be silver in there" or "silver earrings [[silver effect plastic]]" with the latter in the fine print."Well, it's election year, Bill, we'd rather people didn't exercise common sense..." - Jed Bartlet, The West Wing, season 4
