How does msn instant messanger work on a mobile?

Is it possible to use instant messenger on my phone,if i download ebuddy.I wish to use it instead of texting someone who has the same phone (nokia c3).We both have access to wifi.If i install it,how will it work,will i receive messeges like a text?.Will it cost anything.

you don't receive it as a text. Your phone is a computer and eBuddy is messenger software like msn messenger; so it works the same way it would on a computer where you get the messages in that application.0

You also need to be logged in with the application otherwise the message will be received the next time you are logged in. Ebuddy on the iPhone at least logs you out after 1 hour of no activity though you can change this.
Assuming you arent paying for your wifi then there is no charge, the application uses a small amount of data whilst your logged in so if you ever do start paying by data useage (eg 3g abroad) then you would be indirectly charged for using it.0
