Letter Graham White Solicitors

Hello everyone. Back in July I received a parking notice, by letter, sent to my home address. It was from excel and it had CCTV pictures of my car entering an exiting a retail car park. It states that I exceeded the limit by 20 minutes on the previous Sunday. After reading MSE I decided to just ignore it, even though I was not the driver I even resisted the temptation to write them and say that I was not even the driver at the time in question. After several more letters, Toady I received a letter from their so called solicitors as their final “Notice of Intended Litigation”. I am in process of getting a mortgage and in any unlikely event if this goes to court it might damage might credit rating. Just wondering whether I should write to them stating the fact that I was not even the driver---or shell I continue ignoring!!!!-please give me some advice!!!!Or reassurance!!!!!I really welcome your advice

So you've had the Graham White/Roxburghe so you are nearly at the end. I would imagine one more begging letter and thats it. See the stickies for the letter chain.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

You've answered your own question,
' After Several More Letters ', If they had a case against you do you really think they'd be sending you hundreds of letters ? No, They'd take you to court straight away.
Keep Ignoring,
For them to get a judgement against you,
- They'd have to prove you was the driver at the time, As they can only sue the vehicle driver and not the registered keeper. (Nearly impossible).
- They'd have to prove that the 'Charges' they've added are a true reflection of there loss, As they can not issue Penalty's. (Again, How does £200+ reflect a 20 minute overstay ?)
- Do i have to continue ?' You only live once ! Don't live to regret the past, But to enjoy the future '
