PPI car load, first national motor?

Hi I was wondering if anyone can help. Me and my mum are looking to reclaim PPI mis sold on finance on a car.

When I first passed my test in 2003 I wanted a car and chose one on finance. Being 19 and not having any credit I was turned down for the loan. SO my mum said she would be the guarantor for me on the loan. It was over 5 years. It didn't last the full 5 years as I traded it in for another car so ended in April 2006. So I paid it for over 3 years.

I can remember insurance being added on to the monthly payments. Me being young and not knowing too much and my mum knowing nothing about cars. I just thought it was cover for the car as they said it had a 2 year warranty but I remember seeing it said insurance.

We want to know if we can claim the ppi back as I can't remember being told about it or what it was for. Also I was an p/t occasional worker ( like agency ) so they wouldn't cover for this. Also my mum was unemployed as she was named on all the paper work. They just took them money from my bank account instead of my mums.

thanks

    Hiya

Bumping up for you, so someone can advise properly on this one.

I understand your able to make a reclaim, and you pursue the dealer to make the reclaim.;)

The dealer is responsible for the mis sell, not the finance company.
