Would anyone like to join me for afternoon tea and a discussion on "garlik" "experian" and "annualcreditreport"?
I recently checked my report on all 3 experian gave me a rubbish report with nearly everything liste but garlik and annual gave me an ok report and they had stuff listed that experian didn't! (one was for vodafone saying I have defaulted but they are satisfied?!-I paid off vodafone in july last year!)
Could I also ask if anyone knows how I can get on the electoral role?
each company said I am not listed but I sent away my letter last year and was told I would be put on dec 06 (I moved house oct 05) but I am still not on! why??!!
thankyou.:coffee:

Hiya
I would contact your local council and speak to someone in 'electoral register' and ask them or check out their website.
With regards to the credit report agencies, I personally would chose to believe experian or equifax over the others, only because they painted a truer picture of my credit status. Garlik was years out of date and was no help to me at all.

hello, i'll put the kettle on,
i dont know much about credit reports, sorry,
surely if you are paying council tax you should be added to the electoral roll,
have you tried going to the council offices in person?"Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0 -
you need to speak to the local council about getting on the electoral roll - they keep it cattie

Id love to stop & chat but my mood is horrendous right now due to stress from house selling. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Just checked out the website for Crawley and this is what it said:
How can I check if I am on the Electoral Register?
You can check that your name is on the current Electoral Register by calling into the Town Hall, or to Crawley Library or Broadfield Library, or by telephoning us on 01293 438346. If you discover that your name is not on the Register, you can complete a form (see Related Documents) to be added to the Register. To qualify to be added to the Register, you must be:
a British, Commonwealth or Irish citizen; and
aged 18 or over.
If you are a citizen of another member state of the European Union, you can still vote in some elections and you may apply on a separate form which we will supply if you call us on the telephone number above.
I know the info is about Crawley, but would assume that it is the same or similar for every town...Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.0 -
