It should by rights be 1 year after you received the item, but could also be from the date of payment, anyway it does not matter in your case as both are just within the year still, And I would also imagine any repair should come with another warranty period.0

hi
thanks for that , im certain the fridge part on the top is not working ,have moved some meat into a old freezer , as i cant afford to lose that
just keeping a eye on the freezer as im not sure how long it would take to show if that wasnt working0 -

I think if its closed then the ice may stay in it for up to a day, but just keep an eye on it, if it fails then ask a neighbour or friend to keep the food for you until its repaired.0 -
hi
thanks will do that , if the whole units gone it mite cost more to repair than to give me a new one can live in hope lol0 -
I suppose it comes down to the price you paid for it, ie you paid £200.00 , to repair it may cost £150.00 they may take the view that a new one will be better placed as opposed to fixing your old one in which case you will be better off as you should get another years warranty for free.0

Hi Teagan,
No, the warranty only lasts as long as the original warranty with most companies. So, if it was replaced with two days left on a two years warranty, it's only covered for two days.
Of course most companies are pretty reasonable about such things but they've no obligation to extend the warranty.
If it's an Argos own brand thing like Haus then it's most probably Chinese and you don't want me to comment any further.
