in Credit cards
With many of the 0% BT offers I just thought it would be good to get an idea of which cards give the best Credit Limits .... it's no good going for a card with a £1K limit!!;)
So I thought that the best way to let people know which are the worthwhile cards to go for, showing the Credit Card Limit as a %'age of gross salary (Nearest 5%) would give a decent 'Bench Mark'.
Here's a start:
Virgin offered 15% of gross salary.
Egg offered 25%
Halifax offered 25%
I'm just wondering what the Credit Limits are on that Capital One offer for 0% BT's over 12/15 months.
It's only an indicator as obviously everyones credit history is different, but it could build up a picture as to which are the best cards.

It has taken about 4,500,000,000 (4.5 billion) years for the Earth to form as it is now .........
and it'll only take about another 100 years for mankind to really **** it up!!!!

This benchmark milarky won't really work. It depends on what order you apply for the cards and what 'debt' you already have taht will influence the credit limit. This along with earnings and previous credit history.0
