Holiday help please - can i get my deposit back?

Hi everyone.
Ive got a problem and am looking for some advise before i go back to my travel agent tomorrow.
Today me and my girlfriend booked a dream hoilday for next year to Hawaii, its part of a multi stop holiday where we stop in 4 hotels.
We wanted to stop in the Aston Wakiki beach hotel in Hawaii.
The travel agent had given me a quote on paper that was hand writen, it states that we are stopping in the Aston Wakiki beach hotel for 13 nights as part of the quote.
After paying over a £700 deposit today i asked the girl if i could get a copy of the itinerary email that she had from the tour group she has booked us the holiday with, When i have gone through it at home we are staying in the Aston Wakiki beachside hotel which is not the hotel we believed we booked, it doesnt have the correct location and is not as clean as the one we thought we booked.
The only paperwork i have from the travel agent is 4 different quotes, all photocopys from the itinerarys she had been working on via different hotel companys - each one is hand writen and each one stated we are staying in the Aston Waikiki beach hotel not the beachside it looks like she has booked for us
We dont have a lot of money and have been saving for this holiday for a long time (and will be doing all next year), We would like to have the hotel we thought we booked or our deposit back so we can plan elsewhere, does anyone know if they are going to give us any problems? It will be less than 24 hours since we booked the holiday when i go back in tomorrow.
any help would be great.
Steve

you can but try as they didnt give you what you wanted, remember most travel agents enjoy shafting customers so could go either way.0

As you have it in writing from the Agent, and that is what you booked, then if they cannot correct the error you have good grounds to cancel and get your deposit back.0

I think it's an easy mistake to have been made. I'm sure a call to your travel agent will get it sorted.
I'm sure this can't be the first time it has happened. Aston Hotels have named three hotels with very similar sounding names (Aston Wakiki Beach Tower Hotel, Aston Wakiki Beach Hotel, Aston Wakiki Beachside Hotel) which must cause confusion.
